As a world-renowned expert in Biochemical Engineering and Industrial Biotechnology, Prof. Tan has authored over 500 publications and holds more than 40 patents. He currently leads both BUCT and the China Renewable Energy Society, driving China’s energy and biotechnology agenda forward.

In his keynote, “Biomanufacturing Changes the Future,” Prof. Tan will explore how biomanufacturing is redefining global industry by fusing biotechnology with advanced manufacturing. From materials and energy to medicine and food, this emerging field is a critical engine for green, intelligent, and sustainable growth.
