A globally renowned expert in catalysis, Prof. Zhang is best known for coining the concept of Single-Atom Catalysis in 2011 โ now one of the most cutting-edge frontiers in chemistry. His work bridges fundamental research and real-world application, including the breakthrough catalytic conversion of cellulose to ethylene glycol, now piloted at 1000 tons/year.
With over 600 publications, 110 patents, and a H-index of 125, Prof. Zhangโs influence spans science and industry.
